Damaged poles replaced and need cables moved

I have some utility poles that were replaced by the power company. Everything has been transferred to the new poles but Comcast cables. I need the cables moved so we can remove the poles.

user_d0328c thank you for using the Comcast Business forums page to reach out. I understand that you need assistance with moving cable from older utility poles to the new ones placed by the power company, correct?

Thank you for confirming. If you could send our team a direct message with your full name and full address, we can open a request to have the lines moved.

To send a "Direct Message" ("Private") message:

• Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Message chat" icon

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send it

In the "To" line there is no "Xfinity Support" in the drop down menu.  I get a bunch of options that start with "S" and have "support" or similar in the name.

I took a screenshot to show what happened, but I don't see any way to post it.

I can't get any real help in this forum. My posts keep getting deleted.

@user_d0328c, Are you able to come into a DM, with the business instructions above? We don't need any more posts, just need to get you into a DM, so we can get your information to help with this concern further.

Look at my post that said the DM drop down menu does not work for me - the one above the one you responded to. I cannot get "Xfinity Support" to show up in the drop down menu. I have a screenshot of what I see when I try, but there is no way to share it. No one has responded to that post and I have tried posting/reply several times but they always disappear.

@Comcast_Chelsea Look at my post regarding the DM issue, if you see this.  Each time I try and reply to a specific message from someone else, it fails. That is why I keep posting in response to myself or in general.

user_d0328c Thanks for your time on this and sorry for any confusion if you did not see our last message. Please follow these steps below to send a direct chat message to "Comcast Business" to contact us. We are looking forward to working together on this.

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or go to https://forums.businesshelp.comcast.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Comcast Business" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Comcast Business" from that list
- A "Comcast Business" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it"
