I called support before I posted here, they were of no use whatsoever. I understand why Xfinity do not have email support, they would need to provide actual answers to customer questions when everything is in writing. Over the phone they can basicall

Sorry but I do not follow you. My issue is that I was forced to take business over residential where the price is 3 times as much. Regarding email, my complaint was that there is no email address for customer service at Xfinity, it is phone or forum!

I have requested once to have the public WIFI turned off but it came on again. I wish there was a way to disable this from the interface, this is a security problem with my business. How do I go about getting this disabled? Thank you,Kevin

800-391-300 is that a real phone #?

I would like to turn off or disable the Xfinity Wifi (public) hotspot. I've seen other messages and threads asking for this with no real answer or solution. One answer only gave the instrutions to turn off the "private" wifi and there is no option in the account settings to turn of the public hotspo

John, be my hero and please turn off the Public Wi-fi Hotspot on the device/modem/gateway. Do you need the IP or shall I assume you know it? Also, if you could, ensure that it remains off as I have security concerns. Thanks for your help!
