What specification of coax is used for service above 250 Mbps

I intend to do a bit of remodeling/rewiring and would like to know the minimum spec/requirements of coax cable to maintain my current level of service without the additional cost of having a Comcast technician come out.

Hi @user_5f43a5. I hope remodeling goes well! We use Cat6 coaxial cable for our services. We also recommend not using store bought endings for the cable, as it could cause interference. Having a technician or electrician put the endings on, would be the best choice.
