Static IP address devices
Is Comcast willing to support customer-provided devices for static IP addresses? If not, what devices does Comcast offer that support static blocks?

Hi aturriff. Comcast does not support fixed static IP addressing with customer owned equipment. Currently there are three devices in use for Business Customers with static IP addresses. The Cisco DPC3939B, The Netgear CG3000DCR & the SMC Networks SMCD3G-CCR. Additional info can be found @ mydeviceinfo.comcast.net Please let us know if further assistance is required.
Thank You

And be prepared to have the rental go up 3 months after you sign a fixed price contract. Absolutely criminal.
I very disgruntal comcast business customer.

Yes, my modem rental just went up 30%. I'm looking to replace it. I'm not happy with what I'm reading here.
