smcd3g password reset

I am unable to log in. How do I reset the password to my SMC modem?

Hi Philuup.  The gateway username/password has been set to the defaults.

Hello Philuup and welcome,

 

If you are not using any StaticIPs, using standard LAN DHCP, or do not have any special Port-Forwarding, Natting, etc. set up, you should be able to depress the little black button on the back of the SMC and this will set everything back to the default settinging including your 10.1.10.1 cusadmin/highspeed login credentials.
