Purchased a New Modem- Netgear
Hello all at Comcast/Xfinity, I hope this message finds you well and living abundantly.
I purchased a Cable Modem Router and need instructions for swapping out my old modem and installing
a new modem.
1. I need to know if the Netgear is compatible with Xfinity Internet service
2. Instructions for configuring service on the new modem
3. RMA needed to return the old modem that belongs to Comcast/Xfinity

Please see my comments below. Thanx.
1. I need to know if the Netgear is compatible with Xfinity Internet service
All Comcast Business supported modems can be found at this link. In the Business Internet Tier gauge, simply bring the blue ball down to the internet speed you have then below will be the list of Customer Owned Modems that are supported.
2. Instructions for configuring service on the new modem
After you purchase your COM, simply contact a internet technical agent at 800-491-3000 for provisioning and activation.
3. RMA needed to return the old modem that belongs to Comcast/Xfinity
Your choices are to have a Comcast Technician pick up you Comcast Gateway (CG) or turn it in at CG to your closest Comcast Service Center.
