Have you checked that your computer can support 5GHz wifi? Not all of them can. It will depend on the capabilities of the wireless adapter..... Keep in mind, both "ends" of the connection need to support 5GHz, in this case the Comcast gateway and your computer.

Yes it can I have had show up before, we can't get it on our phones, tablets or computers.

TRy changing the security mode to "WPA/WPA2 PSK (AES)". I'm seeing underneath that box that 802.11n/ac are only compatible with that...

By "your router", do you mean the Comcast-provided gateway? (the model number would be "Cisco DPC3939B"). If so, can you possibly verify your configuration settings from http://10.1.10.1 ? Possbly consider posting a screen shot of the WiFi configuration on your gateway? I have posted the 2 following from mine below:

Yes that is what I mean it shows up as enabled but its not there
