Comcast Business Cable STILL Unburied After 3 Weeks and 15+ Contacts
I’m a Comcast Business customer. On August 3, Comcast installed a replacement service cable from my home to its service box and left it above ground for later burial. As of August 25, it still has not been buried. I have made more than 15 contacts with Comcast, including multiple appointments and promised completion dates. Representatives create tickets and appointments, but no crew arrives, and each subsequent contact produces different information. There appears to be a disconnect between Comcast Business customer service and whoever is responsible for the actual burial.
The exposed cable is now a safety and property-maintenance issue. My lawn-care provider refused to mow around it because of the risk of damaging the cable, so we temporarily had to place part of it over my fence. Another portion runs outside my property in an area regularly used by people walking and walking pets. I need someone from Comcast Business who can take ownership of the burial request, determine why the field work is not happening, and get it completed.
I am preparing an FCC complaint and formal written escalation to Comcast Business headquarters, but I would prefer to resolve this directly first. Can a Comcast Business representative please take ownership of this case and contact me privately for my account information?

Click "Sign in" if necessary.
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon.
Click the "Start new conversion" (Pencil and paper) icon.
In the "To:" Line, type "Xfinity Support".
As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
Press Enter to send it.

Should I just choose the one that's just called "support"? Icon looks like a musical instrument of some kind; its green.

I did some research and found that "Xfinity Support" is not the correct direct message address. Instead, I sent it to "Comcast Business" because I am an business customer, not a residential customer. If there is some other recipient I should use, please specify the correct one.
