Upgrading to a block of static IP addresses

I've been waiting for an answer from Comcast for a week now, so I'm hoping that someone in the community can answer my question.

We currently have a static IP address, and all of our equipment is configured for it. Since Comcast will not add just one, I want to upgrade to a block of static IP addresses. However, I do not want to go through the nightmare of changing the static IP address we're using now. I want to know if we can keep this static IP as part of the block of addresses.

Hi user_9a98ea, thanks for visiting our Business Forum. We value you being a business customer with us, and my team is here to support you. We would be more than happy to double-check this for you and provide any further assistance needed with this Static IP concern. Please send us a direct message with your full name, business name, full address, and phone number.

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon in the top right corner
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Comcast Business"
  • - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select “Comcast Business" from that list
  • - A “Comcast_Business" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
