SecurityEdge false positive - site blocked as "Malware / Infected page," - no Tier 2 contact

Our own business account (Scallop Bay Marina, Pocasset MA) is on Comcast Business with SecurityEdge. Since September 5 SecurityEdge has blocked our company domain scallopbayshellfish.com and the staff application at data.scallopbayshellfish.com. The SecurityEdge portal shows the domain as category "Malware," status Blocked, reason "Infected page," and logs about 80 blocks a day, which is our own staff trying to use our own app at the hatchery.

The site is clean. It is a shellfish farm's record-keeping app on Vercel. It was flagged because its login page used to call a Google Apps Script endpoint, which we rebuilt on September 5-6 so the browser only talks to our own domain. Every other vendor that flagged it has since reviewed and cleared it (Webroot, Cisco Talos, Seclookup, SOCRadar, Trellix, alphaMountain, VIPRE), it resolves normally on every public filtering DNS service, and CRDF has verified our domain ownership. SecurityEdge is the last list still blocking it.

I opened Comcast Business ticket [Edited: PII]on September 10 and was told Tier 2 would call or email within 48 hours. Nothing has come. Akamai support [Edited: PII] will not take a call from us because we are not a direct Akamai customer and says Comcast must escalate. I do not want the domain added to our allow list or SecurityEdge disabled, because that only hides the problem on our one account while all other Comcast Business customers stay blocked. I need the classification corrected at the source. Can someone get this in front of the SecurityEdge or Customer Security Assurance team?

Hello @user_286c84, and thank you for posting on our Comcast Business Support Community. Thank you for taking the time to provide such a detailed explanation of the issue. I can certainly understand how impactful this would be to your business, especially when your own staff are unable to access a business-critical application due to the domain classification.

To help protect your account and ensure security-related concerns are handled by the appropriate specialists, issues involving SecurityEdge classifications, blocked domains, and access restrictions need to be reviewed by our Customer Security Assurance (CSA) team. They specialize in security-related investigations and can work with you on concerns involving domain reputation, access restrictions, and related security services.

You can reach the CSA team directly at 1-888-565-4329. They are available 7 days a week from 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM ET.

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and encourage you to contact the CSA team for further assistance with the SecurityEdge classification review.
