Hello nkulkarni and welcome,

If you have disabled the DHCP Server on your NetGear 7000 (NG7K) router and kept your Comcast Gateway (CG) DHCP Server enabled, that is fine. If you are not using a Comcast static IP address, then it is necessary for you to use one of your 10.1.10.2 through 10.1.10.9 DHCP addresses for your NG7K Wan interface. I am assuming that your CG DHCP range it currently set from 10.1.10.10 to 10.1.10.199 and if it is not, then change it. This will allow your NG7K to have a static DHCP address and the only other thing you must do is make sure that port 3389 is definitvely open on which ever 10.1.10.2 to 10.1.10.9 address you are using. This can be accomplished by loggin into the CG using connected computer w/ENET cable connected to any LanPort 1-4, bring up browser got to 10.1.10.1, use cusadmin/highspeed, click on Firewall, then Port Forward tab, then add new button, the enter something like RemPort 3389  3389 both 10.1.10.2-9.  This should allow you computer to have direct access through the CG into your NG7K.

Hope this helps you out.
