Need smtp settings

Trying to set up our Bizhub printer to email an external domain (@toner-tech.com). Can we please get the allowed SMTP settings? We don't have an @comcast.net or @comcastbiz.net mailbox.

We need the servername, port/authentication settings, and what credentials to use. Thank you!

Hello! This link offers some more details about setting up your port forwarding, and has some good info about the firewall options, port forwarding, and your port configuration.

I've also included this link that details how to set up your Comcast email address with an email program.

We don't need to do any port forwarding, we need Comcast's SMTP info so that our printer can send emails.

The second link provides the following:

  • For other programs not listed, use these settings to connect your Comcast email:
    • Incoming Mail Server Name: https://comca.st/32sf0As
      • Incoming Mail Server Port Number: 993 with SSL ON
    • If the Mail Client lets you select an authentication method, choose STARTTLS.
      • If Needed: 143 with SSL ON
    • Outgoing Mail Server Name: https://comca.st/3eawQed
    • Outgoing Mail Server Port Number: 587 (SMTP)
      • If Needed: 465 (SMTPS)
    • Encryption: TLS (use SSL if TLS isn't shown.)
    • Authentication: Type in your https://comca.st/3EjIBJZ email address

Why is the server name an https link? That's the key info I need, along with the Authentication info, and those links just don't work.

Let's go ahead and get your Comcast Business account pulled up, and take a look.

Please send us a private message with your full name, business name, full address, and phone number. By clicking the "message" icon in the upper right page of our forum page. Once you click on that, input our shared handle (Comcast Business) to send us a private message. Thanks!

• Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Message" icon in the top right corner

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Comcast Business" there

• - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Comcast Business" from that list

• - An "Comcast Business" graphic replaces the "To:" line

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send it

I no longer work for Comcast.
