IP address changing DURING passive ftp session

We have a business that uses ftp heavily throughout the day to transfer files.   Lately we have been having trouble with FTP sessions failing.   With some help of our host, we found that our IP address connects with our static IP, but then changes part way through to another unknown, but owned by Comcast, IP address.  Due to that, our FTP host blocks the traffic and the ftp fails.

Has anyone experienced this or know a way to get it so that Comcast does not to this?

Hi there @JeremyR   Thank you so much for reaching out.  It seems your FTP sessions are failing due to your IP address changing during the connection, which may be caused by Comcast's network policies. To resolve this, ensure that your business has a static IP address and consider contacting Comcast to verify your network configuration. Additionally, check if your FTP host can whitelist your static IP to prevent blocking. If issues persist, consult with your email or network administrator for further assistance in maintaining a stable connection.  Click the link below for more info.

I do have a static IP address.    The host can whitelist it and has.  The problem is that the IP address changes to an unknown IP during the ftp session.
