Fiber and Static IPs
We are a Large Health Center in one of the hardest hit areas and with what is going on with Covid we need to upgrade to fiber. Called Comcast and no problem they can install but all of our public IP’s will change. This is something that cannot happen as we have 20 other health care agencies that all have to coordinate changes to be made on the cut date. Getting all the agencies together along with changing all our equipment setting is just not possible. Anyone have a solution for this?

And why can we simply not keep our current IP's?

Thanks so much for taking the time to reach out to us through our business forums. I very much appreciate your patience and greatly apologize for the delay in our response. I know how important the services are to your business and we want to do all that we can to assist. I can certainly see what an impact this will have to your business. The issue is that you are signing up for our enterprise services with ethernet services. The way and amount of static Ip addresses are assigned to a enterpise account are different from our small business accounts. I truly understand your concerns and I can see how difficult this can be especially with what you have described you will have to go through to make this change. There is not an option to keep the current block of IP's with the Fiber install. I am happy to address any further questions or concerns if you could reach out through private message By selecting my handle and selecting send private message. with your first and last name, business service address and account number or phone number?
