Exchange server only
I have several domains registered and hosted on GoDaddy. I'm not interested in moving them to Comcast but I want to host my email here. I have read in a few places in the faq's that make me think it's possible, but most of those faq's seem to indicate I'll have to move the domain. Is it possible to have just my email hosted on the comcast exchange server? I would want to use the existing email addresses, me@mydomain.com, and not just have the myname@whatever.comcastbiz.net.
Thanks for any help!

HI LaserImage. Send me a PM (private message) with the full text of the failure (full email address) and I will have our Tier 2 group investigate the issue.
Thank You

HI LaserImage. You can have hosted email via Comcast while retaining your web site with your current provider.
Here is a Link to the complete steps for that process.
Hosted Email only:
Option 2. If you only want Comcast to host your email, you will need to update your MX records with your DNS provider to the correct Comcast MX records as follows:
Sign in to your Comcast Business online account and select Websites from the Manage Services menu.
• Select DNS info for domains.
• The DNS name will display the information for your registered domain.
• The MX records will start with mq01 / mq02 / mx01.
Let us know if your need further assistance with this process.
Thank You

The account setup worked in Outlook and I am able to send a message from that account but I get an error when sending to that account. Here is the text I get about the error:
Action: failed invalid recipient
Status: 5.1.1
Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 550 5.1.1
Last-attempt-Date: Sun, 23 Jun 2013 14:13:44 +0000
I replaced my actuall account info here for privacy, but it is the right account and domain in the message.
