Anyone ever had static IP's Removed Without Their Permissions
Has anyone ever had static IP's Removed Without Their Permission?
The Internet went down at work. It started running on 4g backup.
I called the first time, and the CR kept saying everything is good on their end and that they would have to send a tech out. Had To hang up and call again.
The second CR was more knowledgeable and mentioned there were no static IP's loaded on this modem and they had been removed, apparently, a work order was submitted without my knowledge somehow. I am the business owner, and no one else can submit a work order or have access to the account.
For security and privacy reasons, the information on who authorized the static IP change cannot be shared with me.
Is my account safe with Comcast?
Is my information safe with Comcast?
Will I lose the new set of static IP I received?
Can Comcast just remove your IP's and leave you bare and exposed?
Can a tech on Comcast's back end by mistake, remove IPs without the account owner's permission?
What happened opens a whole list of endless questions.
