Transfer from Comcast Business Account to a Residential Account

Hello:

 

Looking for some help switching from a business account to a residential account. Specifically a Comcast rep who knows the process and isn't in sales.

I signed up for Comcast Business in order to have internet installed at my rural home. My contract has ended and my monthly payment has shot up to ~$350. I work from home and need to have my internet service switch without interruption.

@user_js81a5 You're definitely in the right place to get your service address switched from a business account to a residential account. Please send a direct message by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, click on the pen and paper icon, then enter “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section.

@Comcast_Raul "Xfinity Support" is not accepted in the "To" section of direct messages. I am unable to find the user 'Comcast_Raul' in the To section of direct messages. Do you have someone else I can message that will resolve in the "To" section?

@user_js81a5 The Direct Message wouldn't be sent to me. You would have to click on the chat bubble in the top right corner and send a message to our "Comcast Business" handle.

I messaged the "Comcast Business" Handle and have not received a response.
