Poor Business Service

We moved. You would think it would be easy, nut it was quite the opposite! It has been a month and still, no one can seem to give us what we had prior to the move!

When moving a business, they have to make a new account, so they can get a new contract and charge more! When the installer was here, we had a dial tone for two lines, then line two, the roll over number disappeared! We called and was assured it was working. No! It was not. We called again and now all we have is call waiting, no roll over. We called again and was told it wasn't on the contract, which was supposed to be exactly the same as the original contract! After talking to someone to get the roll over number working, after another 1/2 hour call, the phone went dead, he was gone and no call back.

We have no clue how much business we have lost with the inept service and no one at Comcast seems to know what they are doing. All I hear is the contract! Well, how about honoring your end and give us the service we are being charged more for because we moved.

If I could get out of this "relationship" with Comcast, I'd be done in minutes! I took a gamble and switched, I didn't know the odds were going to be so bad!

We are losing business, no one at Comcast seems to care, jut more money! That's what they seems to be fixed on!

BREC. I'm truly sorry to hear about your situation, and I can understand how frustrating this must be. While our access on the Forums is limited when it comes to reviewing or discussing rate concerns, our billing specialists can take a closer look at your account and available options. @Comcast_Dilary finally, after more than a month and no less than a total of six hours on the phone, I was fortunate enough to get someone who actually knew what he was doing and understood our issue. Isaac made everything work and told me it was easy! If others have no clue what they are doing, then pass the call on to someone who does. He also agreed that we should be compensated for the lack of service and our troubles. It is a small amount when we add up the hours and the business we lost.

I have moved many cable/internet services over my lifetime and never have had such a bad experience. After this, I understand why Comcast has such long account numbers. When we moved, we had a new account and a new contract! Of course, it was more than the original. We have noted of the end date and will cancel well before they can play some kind of game to lock us in. The business practice of Comcast is lacking so much! It's too bad their isn't someone in the long list of corporate people who doesn't see this and give Comcast a total rebuild!
