Need to rezone a business address to residential.

In order to get service at my residential address I had to create a business account for them to create a new address in the system. I just finished my contract so I need to rezone the business address to residential so I can get residential service. It would be great if we could do this without any interruptions. Thanks!

Hi @user_74fc5b , thanks you for reaching out over our Comcast Business Forums. Welcome to the community! We would be happy to help get you switched over to a residential account. Have you contacted business service customer support? The first step is going to be setting up the disconnection of the business account. Business Services Account Department is open 24/7 and can be reached at 1-800-391-3000. Once this step is completed, please send us a private message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and complete service address. We look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you Anna I just talked to them and they said they couldn't transfer the address to residential. I called the residential side and they couldn't set up an account because the address is labeled as a business address. Apparently we would need to "rezone" the address as residential before we can set up a residential account if that makes any sense. (edited to remove personal information) Thank you so much for your help!

Thank you for the additional information. It certainly sounds like we will need to find a route outside the normal process. I would be happy to help on our end. Please don't post any personal information in the public forum (for your security). Can you send us a private message? To send a our team a message please locate the chat icon, and when prompted send your name and address to our shared handle "Comcast Business Support". We will then be able to gather your personal details privately.
