Need to close business account and transfer to residential account

Comcast runs their cables through a wash to get to my house. This floods out every single year and cuts internet to my home office for days on end, sometimes weeks. This has cost my business thousands of dollars. I have documented this dozens of times over the years, including recently via email with an employee who simply stopped responding to me. It was eventually recommended to me that my service would be better if I transitioned to a business account. I did this  almost two years ago and there has been no improvement. We are approaching monsoon season again here in Arizona, and seeing as the physical infrastructure issue has not been solved, there is no benefit to me maintain a more expensive account. I want to cancel my business account and transition back to residential.

I have had no luck getting in contact via phone or chat with an agent to get this done. Please help me manage this process.

Hey there, @JamesM! Thank you for creating a new public post to get started. I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you've had with your service, and with contacting our Comcast Business team. Making sure we provide the most up-to-date information, have you called 1-800-391-3000 as seen on our Comcast Business Contact Us page? If not, this is the best place to start for making changes to your business account, since the Digital Care Team has limited access over social media. But don't worry! We'll be right here to help however we can. May I also ask how you accessed the chat feature, so that we get a better picture of which team(s) you might've spoken with so far?

@Comcast_Sara I used the chat feature on the comcast business front page as well as called the 800 number. I then saw another post that recommend using the DM feature in the top right corner here, but @Comcast_JoshuaD  directed me that I had to make a public post first before using that, which is what I am doing now.
