Moving from Business class to Xfinity residential
I am trying to close out my business class account and open a residential account. I can search here and see numerous people asking the same thing. They have been told to set up a disconnect on Business Class for a future date, then setup a new account with residential.
This is exactly what I've been trying to do for hours now. I have signed the disconnect form with Business class, but Xfinity is trying to tell me I have to wait until my service is actually disconnected before they will sell me residential service. This would leave me without service for days, and I can't believe what I'm asking is really so difficult.
Somebody please help. My business service is set to disconnect next Friday and I need Xfinity to be connected that day. It is OK if it overlaps and I start paying for Xfinity before Business class is disconnected.
Please tell me who specifically I need to talk to, be it online or on the phone. Direct phone numbers please, I've been getting the runaround on the phone far too long already.

Hello, how are you? I hope overall your day has been a good one! It sounds like getting your residential account created has been a headache. I am very sorry about this, but I have seen this scenario a ton of times (I will exaggerate and say 100's lol) I can get this worked out I just need your account information. If your business account has an open disconnection order, I can create your residential account 🙂 Send a private message at your convenience so we can take the right actions to help. If you can include your name as it appears on your business account, the full-service address, and the account number (or phone number) I can make sure your business account is set to close.
I have a few other questions also to make sure we save valuable time. Is the residential account going to be at the same location? What is the phone number, and email address you want to be listed on the residential account? I look forward to your private message!
