Mixed Account Limbo - Stuck between Enterprise and SMB teams, neither can help due to the other.
We currently have both legacy Cable Modem and Dedicated Internet services in place dating back 8 years, and neither are providing modern bandwidth for our needs. The local enterprise rep is disinterested in helping us move back to cable modem only (and ensuring we get a good price/terms), and just wants us to pay for more dedicated bandwidth which is not in our budget (and at a price point that is twice what I was told from a national rep). I reached out to the SMB team online, and signed a new order with a helpful rep, but the order was cancelled due to existing enterprise services on the account. SMB says we have to first request a disconnect of our Dedicated Ethernet service to "free up" the account to be managed by the SMB team, but we are hesitant to do this until the new Cable service can be ordered and implemented. How do we get past this dilemma? Who is in charge, and why can't one team work with the other in the best interest of a customer?
