Fake Installation Reminder Calls

I've received calls yesterday and today from phone number 855-336-6983 with automated voice saying "Hello, this is a message from Comcast Business to remind you of your upcoming appointment for an installation of service app."  Then it gives an address and date of 9/1/26.  Only issue is I have not requested any appointments for installation for any of our offices.  I think this is a spam number, will not be reaching out to it but would like someone from Comcast to confirm they don't have my phone number mixed up with another person/company's account.

That is certainly not what we want for our customers to experience, I do apologize. We would be more than happy to look into the account and ensure the phone number is not crossed with another account. Can you please send us a DM?

 

Please send us a direct message with your full name, business name, full address, and phone number.

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon in the top right corner
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Comcast Business"
  • - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select “Comcast Business" from that list
  • - A “Comcast_Business" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
