Early Termination Fee Dispute – Business Closure Due to State Law

I am writing to formally dispute an early termination fee and related charges applied to my business account. My business became inoperable and was ultimately closed in December 2024 due to financial losses brought on by recent changes in California state laws. I called in January 2025 to cancel my Comcast Business service, expecting the account to be properly closed.

However, I’ve now discovered that the account remained active and was never formally terminated, despite my call. I was never provided with a termination confirmation or asked to sign any cancellation paperwork. It is concerning that I’m now facing an early termination fee and potential collections activity for a service I neither used nor had the means to continue.

I respectfully request a review of this situation, including any call logs or account records from January 2025, and that the early termination fee and any charges incurred after that date be waived in light of the business closure and lack of formal confirmation.

Thank you for your understanding and assistance,
