Comcast Business: Is 15 Years of Customer Loyalty Worth Anything?
I've been a loyal Comcast residential internet customer for 15 years, currently paying $60/month for internet that serves my entire household, multiple people, and numerous devices.
I recently opened my own private counseling practice and signed up for Comcast Business Internet. I'm a solo business owner working out of an office that's less than 200 square feet. I need reliable internet for my practice, including telehealth—not a complicated business setup with multiple employees or phone lines.
Yet I'm paying approximately $110/month for 300 Mbps business internet, including the gateway fee. I found an AT&T offer for 300/300 Mbps at $70/month and contacted Comcast to see if they could offer a more competitive rate.
I was told I'm already receiving the lowest price, with the only additional savings being $10/month for ACH autopay. That would still leave me paying $100/month.
Instead of addressing my actual concern, representatives repeatedly tried to sell me a Comcast phone line in exchange for a bundled discount. I already pay just $10/month for phone service elsewhere. Adding another line would increase my overall expenses, not save me money.
I'm a small business owner trying to keep my expenses manageable while building my practice. I've been a Comcast customer for 15 years, and I genuinely wanted to continue that relationship. But being told there's nothing more that can be done, while being pushed toward services I don't need, is incredibly disappointing.
I understand that business and residential internet plans may differ, but I expect a company I've supported for 15 years to at least make a genuine effort to remain competitive when presented with a legitimate alternative.
I'm asking Comcast Business's retention or Corporate Business Escalations team to review my account and offer a genuinely competitive internet-only rate. I'd prefer to stay with Comcast, but I need a financially reasonable reason to do so.
Can someone with the authority to help please reach out?

You've been clear about what you need: reliable Internet for your counseling practice, including telehealth, at a reasonable monthly cost. You're not looking to add phone service or bundle additional products just to qualify for a discount. You're looking for an Internet-only option that makes financial sense for your business.
We also understand why the AT&T offer caught your attention. While residential and business services have different pricing structures, that doesn't mean your concerns about value should be overlooked.
Comcast Business has a separate team that handles business accounts, pricing, and service agreements. We can't promise a specific rate or price match, but we'd like to help determine the appropriate next steps for getting your existing services and pricing reviewed rather than having you go through the same sales conversation again.
One question to start: Are you currently under a service agreement with Comcast Business, or are you on a month-to-month plan? That can make a difference in what options are available, and we want to make sure we're pointing you in the right direction.
