Business Closing and Termination Fee
Has anyone had any luck with the termination fees? Our lease was not renewed and we have to shut our doors. I called to terminate and they told me I will owe almost $800 because we "renewed" our contract last November. I called the loyalty department because we have been with them for 13 years and they told me they need to recover the lost revenue somehow so there is no way to waive the fees. I said the contract states if you terminate without cause. But we are terminating "with" cause. Our lease was terminated. I was happy to provide the documents. They said, well we can move the service (to where exactly?) or maybe the landlord could take it over and advertise the space comes with comcast already. So much for the 10's of thousands of dollars we have already paid comcast over the last 13 years. This will just ensure we never do anything comcast related in the future. Home or business. [Edited: "Solicitation"]. It may be cheaper in the immediate but over the long run you'll pay one way or another.

• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Messaging" icon in the top right corner
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Comcast Business" there
• - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Comcast Business" from that list
• - An "Comcast Business" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it

FYI. If you are a business customer the DM's can't help you. Don't bother DMing even though they ask you to. They will just tell you for business contracts call the customer service center, who will in turn tell you you are out of luck.
