TEC CGA4131COM ethernet download issue
I recently changed computers. I was using a Dell 780 formfactor with a i3 processor and the down load speed to the device was 290 mbps. ( I have 250 subscription) . I replaced it with a Dell 7050 with a i7 processor and the best I get to the device is 95mbps. Speed test on comcast business site shows 290 down to the modem but only 95 from modem to computer. This is a ethernet connection.
Is there a setting in the network card that needs to be changed??

Thank you for reaching out over Comcast Business Support. I can't imagine the headache this has caused you. I would certainly think the new computer would work better/faster than the old computer. You have reached the right team to help. To start, what troubleshooting steps have you tried? Let's make sure it is just this computer experiencing the slower speeds. Do you have another device to try using an ethernet connection? What speed do you get with that device?

The older Dell 780 was getting full speed. It had a 3. Gig network card. This newer 7050 (1 Gig network card) is only getting 95 from the modem. I have changed cables twice . I noticed if i change Lan ports on the gateway, I am getting slower speeds, down to 18mbps.
