CANNOT ACCESS 10.1.10.1 BUSINESS MODEM

Needing to access the Comcast Modem 10.1.10.1 in order to set new ip addresses in firewall acceptance. I cannot access 10.1.10.1 i get the spin on Chrome and ERR_CONNECTION_RESET thats all nothing. I tried using WIFI, the router that is plugged into the modem and hardwire directly into the modem, no access to 10.1.10.1 from any point. Any thoughts?

I'd expect that address to always respond. Try rebooting the modem to see if that fixes it up.

You can only access the Comcast Gateway (CG) by having a computer ethernet cable directly interconnected to any of the LanPorts 1-4 on the back of the CG. There is currently no wifi wireless access into the CG.
