Account transfer from Business to Residential

Hello,

I'm trying to switch from a business account to a residential account. My house originally had a business account because residential internet was not available. I have been advised by service technician that residential service is now available. I would also like to enquire if it is possible to switch to residential without loosing my internet connection. 

Any assistance to help me switch would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and thanks for taking the time to make a post @user_ff8b32. You will want to reach out to our business department over the phone. This is because we are not able to do anything to the account or contracts over this platform. I have there phone number as 855-291-9686 and there website is https://comca.st/3bpDlvi. I am truly sorry I am not able to help you with this. What I can do is see if we are able to provide you with residential internet services. Please send me a direct message with your first and last name, along with your complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.   

Here are detailed steps to direct message us:  

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary 
  • Click the direct message icon
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon 
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list 
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window 
  • Press Enter to send your message

Aaron, I couldn't find "Xfinity Support" in the drop down. I sent my message to Comcast Business. If this is incorrect please let me know.
