Connection Pro WiFi E110-b38

I have a Connection Pro WiFi E110-b38 that has kicked in while we're experiencing an outage. However, the speed is less the 5 mbps downloand and less than 1 mbps upload. This is not even 10% of my plan "Business Internet Performance 500 Mbps / 300 Mbps".

I rely heavily on the internet to keep my business running. The current outage is scheduled to end a week from today "by 3:03 PM on 03/20/2026." That is a whole week of havoc for my business.

Is there a way to boost the speed from the E110 device? I would be happy with 10% of the speeds of my plan.

Hello @user_3f45ac, I completely understand how critical a reliable connection is for your business, and I sincerely apologize for the stress this service interruption and the unexpected backup speeds are causing.

Be sure for security reasons not to post any personal information while in public.

The Xfinity Connection Pro Wi-Fi E110-b38 is designed to provide 4G LTE backup to keep your most essential business functions, like point-of-sale systems and emails, running when your primary 500 Mbps line is down.

While it is disappointing to see speeds below 5 Mbps, the Comcast Business Connection Pro service is technically rated to provide up to 10 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload. It is not intended to match your full "Business Internet Performance" tier, as it relies on cellular towers that may experience high congestion during local interruptions.

To help get your speeds closer to that 10 Mbps threshold, please try these optimizations for your device:

Relocate for Better Signal: Move the E110 device to an elevated position near a window. This can significantly improve the 4G LTE signal it receives from the cellular network.

Avoid Interference: Ensure the device is at least one room away from your main Xfinity Gateway to avoid signal interference, but keep it in an open area rather than a cabinet or closet.

Prioritize Devices: The Xfinity Connection Pro backup is optimized for 1–4 essential devices. To maximize speed for your business-critical tasks, please temporarily disconnect non-essential devices (like guest Wi-Fi or background streaming) from the network.
