VoiceEdge desktop app is using a lot of CPU and RAM

I've noticed VoiceEdge desktop app on my Windows 10 Dell laptop will jump up to 25% CPU usage at times, and at other times will hog up up to 10GB of RAM.  In particular the thread labeled "-type=gpu-process" is the one doing this.   At other times, its at 0 CPU and only 145MB of RAM.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software but the behavior is still there.

Anyone else seeing this?   If so, have you found a solution?

@Comcast_Xavier​    How is it that Comcast can develop a softphone program, yet not provide any support for it, or mechanism to provide this information to the development team?   The VoiceEdge application is updated several times a year.   How does one submit a bug report to them?

We can work on reporting this for you. Would you be willing to send us a private message with your full name, business name, full address, and phone number? By clicking the "message" icon in the upper right of our forum page, you'll be able to input our shared handle (Comcast Business) to send us a private message.

 

Click "Sign in" if necessary

-Click the "Direct Messaget" icon in the top right corner

-Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

-The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, please type "Comcast Business"

-As you are typing, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Comcast Business" from that list

-The "Comcast Business" graphic will replace the "To:" line

-Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

-Press Enter to send it

I no longer work for Comcast.

We are seeing the same issue. Memory usage keeps on climbimg even when no activity is taking place. This needs to be addressed ASAP

This issue is still present as of today 11/17/2022, VoiceEdge app 1.47.0  and we are ONLY seeing this with users that have a specific model of laptop, Dell Latitude 3520 series, we have other Dell model and Lenovo laptops that have 0 issues. Issue will persist even on a fresh install of windows

@Lexa83​ Yip, it's been months now and it's still broken. Now more of my employees are affect. It's getting worse.
