Prevent app from ringing and/or stealing focus.

I like to use VoiceEdge to place calls, handle transfers, and manage my voicemail, but use my desk phone to place and receive calls. However, it is extremely distracting to use since every time the phone rings the app pops up in front of what I am currently doing and there is no option to turn off the ringer in the desktop app.

I do not need both to ring. I only need my desk phone to ring. Please provide either an option to turn off the ringer in VoiceEdge, or turn off focus stealing in the app. It's driving me nuts and forcing me to keep the app closed when I'm not using it.

Hello Alex_7f1365, thanks for posting with this concern. I know pending notifications can drive me crazy as well, so I know where you're coming from. Unfortunately I am not showing a way to turn the notification off manually, but you do have the option to uninstall the app from your computer and put it on another device or just remove it all together. The phone service will work just the same if it's on other equipment or removed, all of your settings are saved on the account in our back end system, so you won't lose anything by removing the app.

@Comcast_Amir I'm not really sure why you think this is an answer. I already stated I like to use the app. I enjoy some of it's features just fine, but I do not use it to receive calls. Why would deleting the app help me in any way? If it is not an option to turn off focus stealing and/or ringing in the app, then why not pass this on to the devs as a possible feature for a future update?

Again, I want to keep using the app. I do not want the app to open itself from the minimized state and appear over the top of what I am working on. Notifications should be a feature I can turn off and on, not something that is forced on the user merely by using the app.

I totally understand your concern, unfortunately there aren't any steps to remove the notifications from the app at this time, however I can pass this information along to our app developers so that this can be considered in a future update.
