Is there any way to remove the missed calls display on a Polycom VVX 310

Our Polycom VVX 310 phones display the number of missed calls, allternating with the date. This is a little distracting, and we have no use for the missed call indicator. Is there any way to get rid of it?

This shows up in the upper right hand corner of the display.

Hi efreitag_hs.   "The Missed Call indicator appears anytime a call is not answered. If you go to the thumb wheel located on the right side of the phone, and select the down arrow, the phone will display your missed calls. From there, you should be able to access a “clear” option. If you select that option, the missed calls will be cleared, and the Missed Calls indicator on the main display will be gone. The Missed Call indicator will return if another call comes in and is not answered.  It is not possible to completely block the display"

Thank You

I've just started using these phones and had the same complaint about the flashing "missed call" message.  The quickest way I've found to eliminate it is to just hit the Down arrow and then the Left arrow.  You don't have to go further into the menus and hit the Clear button in order to not see the message flash.

The missed calls are showing up because you are part of a Hunt Group. You would know you are missing calls when your customers are complaining. However, this is just a counter in the physical phone. And can be cleared very easily.

Thanks
