Trouble with professionally recorded greeting
We have had a voicemail greeting recorded for our business line. The greeting is beautifully recorded however when uploaded the recording does not translate well and is not useable. The quality of the recording or the file type are not the issue as far as we can tell. The recording sounds wonderful on any other device and is a wav file. The only feedback that he have received from Comcast is that we need to check the quality of the recording. There has been no assistance provided as to what the parameters ideally are for a recording to perform well on a Comcast VM system.
We cannot seem to find any information regarding what settings of the wav file would work best with the Comcast system. Is this information available or is there a way to solve this issue?

Good afternoon Ir and welcome to the business forums.
I would like to assist with your voicemail issue. Do you by chance have our analog Business Voice services or the Business Voice Edge?

Comcast touts it receives award for being the most innovative company, but it has a lousy, outdated and very limited ability to record greetings. I cannot wait to see this behemoth be broken up like the government did the Bell System years ago. I HATE COMCAST.
