Spammed All Day

I am losing my mind with the amount of spam we are getting. My business voice line receives between 50-80 calls a day. Maybe 2 of these are business calls. Does Comcast have any sort of defense against this? 

I have simultaneous ring turned on, so my google phone knows its spam, but the spoofed number comes up as a local person on our caller ID.

i had the same your problem and called to customers service many times but they can't help. Hopefully Comcast will find out the way to solve it .

@user_7d66aa​ Its crazy that in 2025, after 20 years of spam calls, they have no solution to filter VOIP spam.

Hello user_7d66aa we have several amazing features with our Comcast Business Voice services that will help combat spam and spoof calling.

Have you had a chance to go through your settings and ensure each of these are enabled?

Unfortunately every one of these features does not help modern spam.

Caller ID - the number is spoofed to be local and displays the local persons name.

Call blocking - every call is from a different number.

Anonymous Call Rejection - None are from restricted numbers. 

Selective Call Rejection - list of up to 12 numbers -  this would fill up in about 2 hours.

Call Trace - pointless since theyre spoofing the number
