Port number out and get a new cell number

We are currently using Comcast Mobile for our cell phone service and would like to port our existing numbers to a new VoIP carrier. However, we plan to continue using Comcast Mobile for our cell service and will need new cell phone numbers assigned once the current numbers are ported out.

Could you please advise on the best process to achieve this while ensuring minimal disruption to our service?

That is a great question. You would need to keep the account active until the port has been completed. However, once completed your line will be closed automatically. A new number would not be able to be assigned to the phone line before the port is completed otherwise the current number will be lost. The best way is to complete the transfer. Once completed contact Xfinity Mobile to open a new line with the current phone/s you will be using. @user_5d033f
