# of rings before going to voicemail NOT visible to set?
I would like to change the number of rings before voicemail picks up and cannot see that setting anywhere while logged in?
The text below was posted in reply to similar request.
When I sign into the DVC I do NOT have a "messaging" link to click on, in fact, no reference to "call control features".
I have clicked through all options that are visible to me and do not seem to have access to # of rings.
Any ideas appreciated! Thanks!
The easiest means by which to change the number of rings before a caller goes to voicemail is the log into the Business Class Portal (BCP) Administrators Email account, then click on the Phone link or Icon which takes you to the Digital Voice Center (DVC). You must login to the DVC using your 10 digit telephone number (just the ten consecutive digits) then use one of the following: Voice Mail passcode or Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) 4 digit security pin US Mail to your service or billing address 7-10 days after your services were installed.
Once you are able to enter into call control features, click on messaging, then click on greeting link and vertical scroll down until you see # of rings, then click on the down arrow button and select the number of rings you want , then click appy and/or save.

Hello tgunder and welcome,
I recognize that post you made reference to.... If you are able to check your Voice Mail Messages (VMMs) on the Telephone Number (TN) you are trying to change the number of rings on, then you may need to call 800-391-3000, use the technical digital voice option, then ask the technical agent to verify your TN does in fact have VM in the biller and in the switch, then after you have been authenticated, rquest that he change your # rings to whatever value you require to meet your business needs. Lastly, if the technical agent confirms your TN in the biller and switch has VMM feature, request that the technical walk you through loggin into your Business Class Portal (BCP) Digital Voice Center (DVC) and show you where the # of rings feature is physically located within the DVC.
Hope this helps you out.

Thanks... I can check voicemail on the TN, no problem there at all. I have tried all the prompts using the phone to try and change settings, but again have no option to change # of rings.

Yes, this used to be available in the FEATURES menu, however it has been removed.
The web portal no longer allows the end user to make this change, only the customer support center by calling in and requesting the change.
Disappointing. It's been nearly a year since we could change this setting on our own.
