no dial tone for fax machine

we have 3 phone lines and the fax is the only one with no dial tone so we cant send or recieve a fax

I would recommned plugging a phone into the line at the fax machine and see if you get a dial tone. If you don't, plug the phone into the mta (if possible) and check there. If still no dial tone, contact tech support, they may need to fix the provisioning of that phone line.
