Message Waiting Dialtone on Lines Without Voicemail

I recently got set up with two business voice lines. Both of them give the stuttered dialtone message waiting tone when you pick up the phone as if there was a voicemail message waiting but, as far as I know, neither of these lines actually has voicemail service. Any ideas as to how to get this cleared up?
