How to change the caller ID display name

How do we update / change the caller ID display name?  When we call from our Comcast voice lines, those we are calling receive the name of a retired employee on the caller ID.  We would like to update the caller ID display name to just display our company name.

HI AcmeRetail.  The Business Service Center @ 1-800-391-3000 can provide immediate assistance with the changes to your outbound caller id display.  Alternately, if you will send me a private message with the phone numbers and the necessary changes, I will engage the Regional Support Center to assist with resolution of this issue.

My caller ID comes up under another number on our account and the name of a seperate business on our account. I have called Comcast several times to have this corrected, but each time they have failed to remedy the problem. is there any way that I can change the caller ID myself?

Is there any robocall kill feature on comcast business?

My phone lines were setup on Saturday and my Caller ID is still not correct, I requested the change on March 12.

 

Can someone get back to me with a time frame when it will be changed?

I have also called multiple times about this issue.  After 13 years with this company we would hate to have to change our provider over something like this.

user_165dbc We would recommend that you go to this link scroll down to 'Caller ID' and follow the steps there so that you can update the Caller ID.

That looks easy, however that isn't what my screen looks like and everything in our account references the correct name.

user_165dbc Can you please send a Direct Message so that we can look into this further? Here are instructions on how to send a DM in case you need them:

 Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message" icon (upper right corner of this page)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Business Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Business Support" from the drop-down list
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
 • Press Enter to send your message

Keep in mind, it may show up as just 'Business Support' if you have any trouble sending a DM.
