Comcast Small Business Voice

Two numbers were ported from AT&T to Comcast Small Business Voice. Incoming calls are not being received because the landline phone is not ringing at all.

Also, how do I setup voicemail on these landline phones?

Hello and Happy Thursday, user_abb534! I hope you’re having a great week so far! I also appreciate you taking a moment out of your day to reach out to us on our Community Forums! You’ve reached the best place and perfect person to help with virtually all of your account needs!

Going forward, I'm truly to hear about the incoming call issues you're having regarding the newly ported phone lines from AT&T as I know I would be just as concerned in your shoes! To confirm, are you able to receive any dial tone when picking up the phone line(s) to begin with?

Also, to active your voicemail, please follow the steps provided below:

Activate voicemail

First-time activation of your voicemail must be completed from your office location. After activation, you will be able to access your voicemail by phone or online, from anywhere.

  1. Dial *99 from your office telephone.
  2. You will be prompted to enter the default password, which is the last four digits of your telephone number.
  3. Once you are in the system, listen carefully to the recorded instructions. An audio tutorial will guide you through the setup of your new voicemail service. You will be prompted to create a password, record your name and record a customized business greeting.

Thanks again for all your time and patience today!

Yes, there is a dial when picking up the phone. I can make outbound calls once I press the Line 1 button. When I am receiving a call, there is no ring and the call can only be picked up by pressing Line one. Can I get an appointment for someone to fix and troubleshoot this?

We can certainly have a further look into this @user_abb534! Can you please click the Peer to Peer chat icon at the top right of the page, click on the pen and pad icon and enter Xfinity Business in the "To" section of the chat and provide us with your first and last name so we may further assist you?
